In 2025, the Madd Ball transported guests to the Italian coastline for A Night In Positano. The evening brought the community together and raised an incredible $325,522 for the Children’s Hospital Foundation, continuing the growing impact of the event each year.

🎪 2023's Circus Spectacular Fun 🎪
In November of 2023 Madd commemorated their second charity gala ball, managing to raise an astounding $200,000 in support of the Children’s Hospital Foundation.

For the second year in a row, Madd was proud to host the Madd Charity Ball – Circus Spectacular. In one night, in one room at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, Madd and 512 guests many of whom were customers, friends, family and people from our local community, were able to raise an incredible $200,000 for the Children’s Hospital Foundation.
The Ball – themed Circus Spectacular, transformed the Grand Plaza Ballroom into a magical night.
The room was filled with enchanting entertainment and an amazing amount of generosity from every single guest wanting to make a difference for an incredible cause (that is exactly what MADD stands for Making A Difference Daily). There were circus games, stilt walkers, Australia’s best illusionist Matt Hollywood, MC Vince Sorrenti, The Amici Band, Killer Queen Experience and the company of many supporting businesses.
We’re committed as a team to Make A Difference Daily, knowing it will inspire others to take action, pay it forward and promote more generosity in the world.
Every dollar raised helps fund lifesaving research, essential medical equipment and the care and comfort that supports sick kids and their families through the Children’s Hospital Foundation.
At Madd, giving back has always been part of who we are. The Madd Ball has grown into something our community genuinely cares about, and in 2027 we continue that tradition with A Night In Egypt at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.

🧿 2022's A Night In Greece 🧿
Madd Loans celebrated their inaugural charity gala in 2022, which raised an incredible $121,612 for the Children’s Hospital Foundation.
The ball — which was themed a night in Greece — transformed the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre into a traditional Santorini experience, complete with Hellenic dancers. But more importantly, they were able to make a positive difference with all of the money they raised for sick children and their families who are doing it tough.
We are proud to continue our partnership with the Children’s Hospital Foundation, the charity at the heart of the Madd Ball.

The foundation funds lifesaving equipment and research that changes outcomes for sick children across Queensland. Just as importantly, they support families through some of the hardest moments they will ever face by providing care programs, comfort and small moments of normality during long hospital stays.
For many families at the Queensland Children’s Hospital, the hospital journey can be overwhelming. The Children’s Hospital Foundation team works every day to make that experience a little less frightening and a little more hopeful.
It is through the generosity of the community that this support continues and together we can keep making a meaningful difference for these kids and their families.
The energy and enthusiasm of George Samios and the wider Madd community is extraordinary, and we would like to thank every person who has, and will, support these events in any way.
